Rosie O’Donnell != Bob Barker

Bob picks Rosie?

With the retirement of Bob Barker from the game show ‘The Price Is Right’, CBS is left with a decision to make: Who takes Bob’s place? While it is CBS’ decision in the end, Bob Barker has put forward a candidate that he believes would be a good successor: Rosie O’Donnell. All I can say is WTF?! CBS sure wasn’t looking in that direction, instead leaning towards a group of guys who have previous experience. Also, they don’t carry the baggage that Rosie would bring with her.

First, by having a woman host the show, wouldn’t it be a little weird to have a whole bunch of much prettier ladies showing off the goods during the show. It might not be too weird, since Rosie would probably be checking them out just as much as Bob Barker or any other guy would. In fact, I bet they would go through the models pretty fast with Rosie hitting on them all the time. Honestly, who would want her hitting on them, guy or gal? I hope that CBS makes the right decision and passes on Rosie without a second thought.

Starcraft Goodness

A video that will be shipped with the August edition of PC Gamer has been leaked that shows four new Protoss units that will be included in Starcraft 2. It has been confirmed that this video is legit by a Blizzard employee on the Battle.Net forums.

In a follow up to this, the person who leaked the video also posted a unit lineup for the Protoss race that will be included in Starcraft 2. The list includes 17 units (if you count a mobile building as a unit), minus the probe.

I am getting so excited about this game, but it looks like I’ll have to wait. Blizzard has stated that current development is in the pre-alpha stage and that a public beta won’t be released until around the end of the year. In an interview with MSN, Blizzard confirmed that Starcraft 2 won’t ship this year. [Sigh]
